There are five gorgeous bedrooms, and four bathrooms.
The Master Bedroom Suite
An enormous triple aspect room with a huge four poster bed (super-king). The theme is cream and calm, with views towards Green Island – one of Antigua’s gems – or towards a Norwegian-type fjord. There are verandas on both sides, allowing you to watch both the sunrise and sunset from your bed. The bathroom is a luxurious haven of Travertine stone, with a modern wet room-style shower, his and her basins and a massive jacuzzi bath for two people with tremendous views on either side. The bathroom itself has three balconies.
The Golden Bedroom
A huge sleigh bed (super-king) is the centrepiece of this room. Its drapes of cream and gold confer a sense of calm, countering the drama of the view directly onto the turquoise bay, with its stunning views towards Green Island. Right next to the bedroom is a shower room with hand-painted tiles depicting 18th century frigates, harking back to Antigua’s sea faring past.
The Blue Room Suite
This spacious double room with en-suite bathroom has a super-king bed and a comfortable day bed, perfect for a third person to sleep on. The colours of the drapes and bedspreads are pale blue with dashes of orange – the glass sculptures pick up this theme. There is a veranda outside the bedroom, with its own gate to the gardens and pool. The room has an ensuite bathroom, with hand-painted tiles. The tiles take their inspiration from the landscapes and seascapes of Antigua - there are tableaux of deserted beaches and tropical fish.
The Purple Room
This double aspect room has twin beds with the Perfect Sunshine signature view towards Green Island. Vivacious Designer’s Guild fabrics on the curtains and bedspreads capture the mood of the Caribbean. Again, the bedroom has its own veranda, with gates down to the gardens and pool.
The Burgundy Room
This room has a double bed and stunning views through its triple aspect windows. As with the other downstairs bedrooms, this also has a veranda, with a gate leading to the gardens and pool. The theme of the room – pictures of tropical vegetation and rich colours picked up on the drapes – are also echoed in the choice of deck-chair on the veranda. The design continues from inside to out.
The Seagull Bathroom
This shower room is shared by the purple and burgundy rooms. Again, an artist has hand paint tiles with a nautical theme. In this case we have seagulls and lighthouse.
